Candidate admission criteria

a) Candidates must hold a degree related to the following disciplines: Philology, Linguistics, Translation and Interpretation, Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Publicity, Humanities, Teacher Training or Speech-Language Pathology.

(The Master's Admission Committee will look into the syllabus of the degree submitted by each candidate before issuing the final admission list.)

b) Candidates must hold a B2 level certificate in English. Those candidates holding an English Studies degree (or similar) are exempt from submitting a B2 level certificate in English. In the event of not holding a B2 level certification in English during the pre-enrolment period, please contact the MA's coordinator for further details.

c) JUST for those candidates holding a degree from a foreign university: Candidates must hold a C1 level certificate in Spanish. Those candidates holding a degree in Spanish Studies (or similar) are exempt from submitting a C1 certificate in Spanish. In the event of not holding a C1 level certification in Spanish during the pre-enrolment period, please contact the MA's coordinator for further details.


Candidate selection criteria

If the number of applicants outnumbers the number of places available (20), applications will be evaluated by the Admission Committee of the Master’s Programme and candidates will be selected based on the following criteria:


1) Numerical calculation of the academic records of the granting-access degree (65%)
2) Additional academic or professional training (20%)
3) Certification of English level (C1 or C2) (10%)
4) Certification of knowledge of other languages (5%)
